F.M.S kiddies wing paid visit to Gurudwara Singh Sahib

 Faridabad :- (zeeharyana.com)  On the eve of Guru Nanak Jayanti, F.M.S kiddies wing paid visit to Gurudwara Singh Sahib, sector-15, Faridabad. The Granthi of the Gurudwara explained the significance of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s life and his teachings. He threw light on Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message of Peace, Oneness, Brotherhood and Compassion.

On the occasion of Prakash Utsav, 550 Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, students were made aware about his teachings and values. Later on prasad was distributed among children.

On 8 November, F.M.S remembered Guru Nanak Dev Ji –founder and first guru of Sikhism by conducting a special assembly. The assembly started with the Shabad Kirtan –“ EK Omkar , Satnam”.This was followed by a kirtan -”Koi Bole Ram Ram” where students sang in their melodious voices. For this occasion the students were dressed in traditional and colourful Punjabi outfits. Boys wore typical Punjabi kurta and pyjama and girls wore salwar suit with dupatta and were looking wonderful in this attire. A spectacular Bhangra dance was performed by young ones. It was enjoyable and enriching experience for children. Afterwards they had halwa puri for lunch.
